This webinar is the second installment in our three-part webinar series designed to take a deeper dive into each option covered in our Wait, Quit or Help Webinar.

During this presentation we will focus solely on when the handler chooses to quit on a search, putting the dog up and making some sort of adjustment. The discussion will cover how this is typically hardest choice for handlers to make but can preserve the dog's motivation and joy for the game. The key is knowing WHEN and HOW to quit a search as well as how to follow-up so we still achieve the desire goal and outcome.

The objective with this webinar series is to highlight the importance of being mindful and observant in our training as possible, recognizing the various choices and options available to us and counteract the tendency to view training in an "always", "never" or cookie cutter type framing.
