No. When either redeeming a gift card or placing an order, no one needs to create an account first. An account is created automatically on the backend once an order is placed and is associated to the email address entered into the EMAIL box on the checkout screen.
The process is simple! The first step is to select the online courses, webinars, seminars, virtual events or eBooks they wish to apply the gift card to.
Once they have added their selections to their cart, the next step is to click the checkbox to agree to the Terms and Conditions and then click the CHECKOUT button.
When directed to the checkout screen, the next step is to enter the code on the gift card in the "Discount or gift card" box and click APPLY.
Next, the recipient should enter their email address and contact information and submit their order.
Once the order is submitted, they will receive an email confirmation as well as a link to create their password along with instructions on how to access their dashboard and use the course player.
Enrollments may be accessed by logging into a client's Scent Work University account. This account is created automatically when the gift card is redeemed or an order is placed.
For a few online courses, the material will only be available through the Scent Work U Community. This will be noted in the description of the course.
However, access to enrollments is not provided via links or email.
Some states require that we charge sales tax. These taxes are only charged when the gift card is redeemed, not when a gift card is ordered.
