This webinar is the first installment in our three-part webinar series designed to take a deeper dive into each option covered in our Wait, Quit or Help Webinar.

During this presentation we will focus solely on when the handler chooses to wait the dog out as they are tackling a Scent Work search. We will discuss when this option may be ideal, how it is essential to be flexible and ready to make a different choice should the search call for it and distinguishing between waiting and allowing the dog to hopelessly languish in confusion and frustration.

The objective with this webinar series is to highlight the importance of being mindful and observant in our training as possible, recognizing the various choices and options available to us and counteract the tendency to view training in an "always", "never" or cookie cutter type framing.
