Teaching is dfficult and challenging.  Attempting to provide the necessary information to the human client in such a way they can understand, internalize and then apply it to their dog is hard. A surefire way to make this process even more challenging is for the instructor to talk down to, bark at or worst still yell at the human client. However, this can happen when the instructor feels as though they are not being heard or heeded. Luckily, there is a better way.

In this webinar, we will discuss tangible ways Scent Work instructors can ensure they are as supportive of their human clients as they are of their canine ones. Ways to indentify if the human client is confused, overwhelmed, distracted, annoyed or disengaged and what to do as a result. How to more effectively describe concepts and exercises and provide actionable things the clients CAN do, instead of solely relying on, "DON'T DO THAT!"

We will delve into specific Scent Work-specific concepts and exercises to help you customize an approach that will work well for your personality and training program.
