Your dog has completed the Introducing Birch and Exteriors and Vehicles with Birch courses. They are now ready to tackle some more advanced concepts and field trip searches!

In this 6-week online course, we will introduce your dog to some of the very same concepts they may encounter at trial while getting them familiar and comfortable hunting in a variety of locations. The latter is essential if you want to successfully compete! Throughout the course, we will leverage the power of pairing to keep your dog's enthusiasm high as they tackle these more complex odor pictures.

Simultaneously, we will hone your skills as both a handler and trainer, ensuring you are mindfully and thoughtfully designing your practice sessions and improving your handling skills so you may be the best teammate possible for your dog.

What You Will Need

your dog
flat or martingale collar
back-clip harness (optional)
6'-8' leash
10'-15' long line
LOTS of high-value and smelly treats
crate or area you can stage your dog in while setting up your searches
minimum of 10 boxes of various sizes (good excuse to shop at Amazon!)
earthquake putty or GlueDots
q-tips
Birch (“Sweet Birch” aka Betula Lenta)
minimum of 3 tins with holes
