Course Details

In this 6-week online course, we will introduce your puppy to a series of advanced sniffing puzzles and problems for them to solve. But this will never feel like work!

All of the exercises are designed to be a fun game that your puppy will love to play. Especially if you plan on competing with your puppy in Scent Work at some point, these are the types of problems you want them to be able to sort out!

Even if competition and trialing was not a goal, giving your puppy a chance to further build and improve their sniffing game yields so many benefits: higher confidence, mental fortitude, tenacity and resiliency and much more! Your puppy will be hunting for primary in this course.

What You Will Need

your puppy
collar (flat or martingale)
harness (back-clip) (optional)
leash (6'-8')
long line (10'-15')
treats (high-value and smelly)
crate or area your puppy can wait while you set-up your searches
boxes (minimum of 10 boxes of various sizes) (good excuse to shop at Amazon!)
plastic lid (from a yogurt or similar container)
minimum of 1 novel exterior location
minimum of 1 vehicle (car, SUV, truck, riding lawnmower, motorcycle, bicycle, etc.)
earthquake putty or GlueDots
