This course will cover the relevant theory and practical exercises that will teach you how to pattern train your dog to work vehicle searches efficiently and thoroughly.

Over six weeks, we will cover teaching the dog how to identify vehicles as important objects in the search area, how to handle straight lines and corners, multiple vehicle searches, strategy, advanced problem solving and hide placement, and blind searches.

What You Will Need

your dog
flat or martingale collar
back-clip harness (optional)
6'-8' leash
10-15' long line
minimum of 1 vehicle
if your dog is on primary: LOTS of small, non-crumbly treats that YOUR dog finds rewarding and/or a high-value toy your dog LOVES!
if your dog is on odor: scented q-tips (Birch, Anise, Clove) inside odor vessels (tins, tubes, straws) and way to secure your hides (Museum Putty, Glue Dots, etc.)
