Lets take a deep dive into How to OPTIMIZE trial Walk Through and DeBrief Videos for your training and trial success. Since 2020, NACSW has provided both pre and post trial videos for each NACSW trial to reveal each Trial search area and after trial description by the Certifying Official, in hopes of adding more specific information, including hide placement and potential search challenges presented for that search.

Other venues have likewise added post trial video including AKC on Facebook at AKC Scent Work Judge's Debrief.

These videos can provide key information utilized to best assess your trial performance, highlight areas of continued or future training and present an overall picture of level appropriate hide placement, hide types and search area size, complexity and parameters.
