What makes perfect sense to use as humans can be interpreted entirely differently by our canine partners. This chasm of understanding often results in frustration and strife when training or trialing in Scent Work.

The first step is to admit there is an issue. "When training, I set up a search and thought A was going to happen...but Z happened instead!" or, "We tackled this search at trial and I expected 1, 2 and 3 to happen yet my dog did A, B and C...what gives?!"

In this webinar, we will explore the common ways we and our dogs can be on a different page when it comes to training or trialing in Scent Work. We will evaluate video examples and search setups, brainstorming ways to better bridge this gap of understanding.
