When training in Scent Work, it can be far too easy to fall into the pitfall of simply slapping hides around the search area and marking it off as "training". But what are you REALLY working on? Are you building the dog's hunt? Perhaps you are working on their alert? Maybe you are trying to concentrate on their stick? Or are you trying to develop their environmental stability? We should be able to answer each of these questions every time we have a practice session with our dog.

In this webinar, learn how to distinguish WHAT you are working on, WHY you would work on it and WHEN it is best to do so in relation to other concepts and skills.
