Seriously, Sue has spent waaaaaay too much time studying the nuances of a dog going potty and sniffing where other dogs have urinated and marked, and would love to share with you all some of the behaviors she has learned predict urine-marking and just plain old getting lost in the smell of other dogs. Sue will also be discussing why some dogs seem to get more distracted than others, and why it likely has less to do with training and more to do with temperament and pottying habits.

Almost anyone could benefit from this webinar, even non-Nose Work folks who love geeking out about the minutiae of dog behaviors.

However, this webinar would be particularly useful for anyone who works with their dog in scent activities, particular outdoors where other dog odors and distractions abound.

Knowing the behaviors to look for that can indicate a dog is lost in dog odors can help you design a training plan for getting your dog back on target odors quickly and happily and hopefully before they pee or poop in the search area.

Sue is an expert in her field and has very keen insights into dog behavior. She gave very specific examples of dog behaviors to differentiate between when a dog may pee in a search area and what is search behavior. With some very clear video, this should help any team who has encountered this issue. Excellent presentation!
