In this 6-week course, we will walk through how to best prepare you and your dog to succeed an AKC Scent Work trial, concentrating on the Container, Interior, Exterior and Buried classes. This will be done by ensuring you both can tackle ADVANCED-LEVEL searches, so that the Novice level classes are a breeze.

Prerequisites

Dogs should be solid on searching for Birch in Containers, Interiors and Exteriors.

What You Will Need

your dog
collar (flat or martingale)
harness (back-clip) (optional)
leash (6'-8') long line (10'-15')
treats (high-value and smelly)
crate or area your dog can wait while you set-up your searches boxes
minimum of 15 boxes of various sizes (good excuse to shop at Amazon!)
Birch and Anise scented q-tips and odor vessels
earthquake putty or GlueDots
