Blank searches don’t need to be scary! We will discuss theory, training techniques, and building observation/decision making skills.
While blank searches are usually considered an “NW3” concept, they can be important at every level of the dog’s development. We get very used to “a search means find the odor” and forget to observe the dogs clearing areas and learn what not finding odor looks like. Natalie will discuss Searching vs. Finding, the Whys and Hows of blank searches, and address many of the common questions and concerns. We will talk about blank searches of all types, not just interiors!
This webinar has been approved for 2 NACSW CEUs.
