Dianna has been professionally training dogs since 2011. Throughout her career she has specialized in helping dogs who were reactive, fearful and aggressive. Dianna was able to improve the lives of these dogs implementing a series of behavior modification programs and weaving in other enrichment activities such as Scent Work, which she is quite passionate about.

Dianna is a Certified Nose Work Instructor through NACSW™, is an approved CSD and Judge through United States Canine Scent Sports and approved AKC Scent Work Judge. At the height of her in-person training career, she was teaching 22 group classes a week, traveling the country speaking at workshops and officiating trials.

After sustaining a serious neck and back injury, Dianna was forced to retire from in-person training services. Unwilling to give up on her passion, Dianna devoted herself to finding a way to provide her services virtually. Hence Scent Work University was born. In a short period of time it has amassed a large international client-base. Pet Dog U was started shortly thereafter. Dianna is excited to see these platforms continue to grow and cannot wait to see what the future brings.

In June 2021, Dianna co-founded a new Scent Work competition organization, Cyber Scent Work, Inc. which offers two unique programs, Cyber Sniffing Games which tests the skills of the dog whereas the Traditional Cyber Scent Work Program tests the skills of the dog, handler and team as a unit. Handlers may opt to participate entirely virtually or to work with an approved Cyber Scent Work Evaluator. The response to Cyber Scent Work, Inc. has been phenomenal and Dianna is thrilled with how quickly it is growing.
