Adam’s start in the training world came from their very first dog, a beautiful brindle boxer named Sansa. Sansa was Adam’s introduction to dog sports, and they competed in numerous venues together, most notably agility, nosework and obedience. But Sansa was also complicated, with physical health problems that affected her behaviour, and serious resource guarding.

Enter Flash, a sensitive, brilliant, bursting-at-the-seams-with-feelings white Boxer. He was a shock to the system, and through him Adam found their passion for helping guardians struggling with their dogs’ behaviour.

Since starting on their training journey, Adam has immersed themselves in all things dogs and training. From professional certifications, to conformation shows and nose work trials, and all the way to donkey training at the Karen Pryor Academy Ranch in Washington. They have also completed their Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner requirements in 2024 with their Boston Terrier Wibble. Adam actively competes in scent work, obedience and agility.

Adam is dedicated to helping both companion and performance dogs live their best lives by providing a holistic training approach, with an emphasis on building trust and communication. Adam's experience training cats and parrots adds depth to their understanding and application of positive reinforcement-based methods.
