Jill will discuss how teams can discover their training needs to reach this optimized performance especially when trialing in Elite.

Honest assessments are hard to do to uncover your training holes and what your team training objectives can ,or should be, to take your next steps to searching like a Super Hero team in Elite.

Our dogs olfaction system is a super hero skill set and we may honor that hero in each of our dogs and in ourselves as handlers, by uncovering our trial numbers (time, dates, running order, number of hides found, faults, false alerts, time outs and more). The numbers can provide clarity for what our team can train for our next trial experience. It is an objective assessment on what we need to improve, areas of our search that are consistent and new areas that need further development to meet the level appropriate skill sets measured on trial day.

By looking at our prior trial performances- and in relation to our training- we can develop meaningful training objectives from the numbers and metrics revealed.
