USCSS: NOVICE TRIAL PREP COURSE
You've heard about United States Canine Scent Sports and are ready to take the plunge with your dog! But are you both ready for all the Novice level classes have to offer? You will be after taking this course!

In this 6-week course, you will learn how to properly prepare both yourself and your dog to tackle the Novice level classes at USCSS trials for all the search elements: Interior, Exterior, Container and Vehicle. You will cement your understanding of various skills and concepts designed to properly prepare you for this level and build a solid foundation needed throughout your entire sniffing journey.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED

back-clip harness (optional)
10-15' long line
Birch scented cotton swabs
putty or GlueDots
LOTS of small, non-crumbly treats that YOUR dog finds rewarding
Explanation of the Novice level requirements
Breakdown for each search element (Interior, Exterior, Vehicle and Container)
