COURSE DETAILS

In this 6-week course, you will learn how to properly prepare both yourself and your dog to tackle the Advanced level classes at USCSS trials for all the search elements: Interior, Exterior, Container and Vehicle. You will cement your understanding of various skills and concepts designed to properly prepare you for this level and build a solid foundation needed throughout your entire sniffing journey.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

  • your dog

  • flat or martingale collar

  • back-clip harness (optional)

  • 6'-8' leash

  • 10-15' long line

  • Birch, Anise and Clove scented cotton swabs

  • odor vessels

  • putty or GlueDots

  • LOTS of small, non-crumbly treats that YOUR dog finds rewarding
