BRIEF DESCRIPTION:
In addition to Birch, Anise and Clove, dogs must be able to locate and hunt for Cypress in AKC Scent Work trials. In this course, we will cover how you should introduce this new odor to your dog and incorporate it into your training. We will also discuss rules specific to AKC, and steps you should take to set your dog up to succeed.

COURSE DETAILS
Once your dog has mastered locating Birch, Anise and Clove in all four of the elements, you are ready to have them find Cypress. We will cover how you may properly introduce this new odor to your dog, getting them accustomed to the concentration levels used in AKC Scent Work as well as discuss how to get them ready for the Master-level of competition!

Are you interested in competing in the upper levels of AKC Scent Work? If so, you and your dog must be familiar in searching for Cypress in all the offered odor classes. We will discuss how you and your dog can prepare for the upper levels of competition in this course.

6'-8' leash
10'-15' long line
LOTS of high-value and smelly treats
crate or area you can stage your dog in while setting up your searches
minimum of 10 boxes of various sizes (good excuse to shop at Amazon!)
minimum of 5 novel containers (e.g. Tupperware containers, purse, bag, etc.)
