When it comes to searching, one of our goals is for our dogs to be as efficient and effective as possible. Translation: we want our dogs to determine where the hide is correctly and quickly.

However, a common misconception and pitfall teams finds themselves in is thinking the speed in which a dog moves throughout the space is the same as being effective or efficient. It is not! A dog buzzing around a search area is likely stirring up the odor, making the puzzles that more complicated and difficult to solve.

In this webinar, we will discuss a variety of exercises and approaches to help our dogs be truly more effective and efficient when tackling their searches. Furthermore, we will highlight ways we can customize our training and expectations to best suite our dog and our team.
