What are strings and triangles? Have you ever missed a hide close to multiple other hides and do not understand why? Strings and triangles are a more complex type of converging odor problem when there are two or more hides in the space. With these types of odor problems, the odor plumes overlap in such a way that many dogs have trouble finding the middle hide.

In this webinar, Judith will break down why this happens and will go through two set-ups you can build upon. For instance, strings are when the odor you have set-up is essentially in a line for the dog to detect whereas triangles are when the odor picture offers offset plumes with convergence. Learn how to train these puzzles, what you can you do as a handler and more in this webinar.

NOTE: This webinar is the third in a three-part webinar series. We strongly urge everyone to participate in all three to get the most out each presentation, as they do build off of one another.

This webinar has been approved for 2 NACSW CEUs.

"I have practiced doubles and triples, but never realized the reasoning behind missing a hide in a triple.  The drawings were helpful by giving me a visual." Barbara H.

This webinar is perfect for anyone who wants to improve their puzzle solving success rate. Regardless of whether you are in the introductory phases of your training, having your dog hunt for primary, or are prepping to tackle Detective and Summit-level searches, everyone can benefit from this discussion.
